MEMORIES FADED
Pripyat, Ukraine. 32 years after the Chernobyl accident. “Memories Faded” is a visual project that captures what every visitor to the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone feels and sees today. There are no people, no animals, no signs of life in these images. Only the remnants of human activity: abandoned buildings, crumbling structures, and forgotten objects. Time passes, and even memories begin to fade.
This series was awarded the Bronze Prize at the Paris Photo Awards Px3 2020.
